File-Sharing Sites Falling Down, How Will This Affect Tokusatsu?

And like a domino effect, other file-sharing sites like FileServe and FileSonic have removed their file-sharing feature over the weekend, and become a personal online "locker." This means only those who upload the file can download it. Other sites also follow.
Fairly simple: Even though most, if not all of us, use torrents in downloading our "weekly tokusatsu fix," there are other people who prefer direct download links (DDLs) as it is faster to them. There are also times that older tokusatsu, like the Space Sheriff and B-Fighter series of the Metal Hero series are only available via direct downloads on these sites. How are the fans going to watch them now?
Fansubs, like TV-Nihon, Dead Fish Fansubs and Grown Ups in Spandex, to name a few, also host their older, and new releases on these sites. It took them years to build this great library of subbed and RAW shows for everyone to enjoy for FREE. This had left them nothing but broken links!
Well, there are still torrents for us to use, which I personally prefer, so let's just hope for best in the coming days. And by the way, SOPA (Stop Online Piracy Act) and PIPA (Protect IP Act) is not to blame here.
In my honest opinion, I think we were just spoiled by these file-sharing sites that we rely on them for almost everything, including music and movie downloads, even outside tokusatsu. Who are we fooling if what we think that what is are doing is not considered piracy?
What had happened cannot be reverted back to what is before. All we need is to cope up with the changes. THIS IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD! We just need to be thankful of all those good times that we have experienced with them.
For countries that have no chance of getting these this is a massive dishonor to the people that the governments have taken advantage of. For a long time File-sharing sites have been the saving grace of our fandom. From all of Fushigi Chan's Ultraman Mebius to all of /m/ subs Bryger
What UkiyaSeed says...
With file sharing sites slowly closing, guess this is the second coming of the dark age of the internet. By dark age, more people will rely on torrents and it is quite hassle to some people since it sometimes kills internet speed and computer performance.
