SKE48 8th Single, over 496,000 Copies Sold

As expected from the most successful AKB48 sister group, SKE48 manages to sell over 496,000 copies of their their 8th single “Kataomoi Finally” and topped the Oricon Weekly Single Ranking for the week of February 6th.

Even though the group debuted in August of 2009, this marks their very first time to obtain sales of over 400,000 units. “Kataomoi Finally” has sold 113,000 more copies than their previous single, “Okie Dokie,” generating this as the highest first week sales out of any AKB sister group (excluding AKB48).
