AKB48's “Manatsu no Sounds good!” Ships 2 Million Copies

It has been reported that idol group AKB48's 26th single, “Manatsu no Sounds good!” shipped 2 million copies on its release date on May 23rd. The release broke AKB48's previous record!
AKB48's “Manatsu no Sounds good!” broke the record of their previous single, “Kaze wa Futeiru”, which has 1.6 million copies shipped on its release date.
Since the single comes with a voting ticket for AKB48's 4th General Election, that will be held on June 6th at Nippon Budoukan, it has also been announced that votes sent on the first day will be announced at AKB48’s theaters in Akihabara on the night of May 23rd.
