Busou Shinki TV Anime Announced

TBS had announced this Friday that Konami's Busou Shinki toy line will get its own television anime series starting this fall. The toy line features armed female action figures.
The Busou Shinki anime will feature a slice-of-life battle story set in the future after our current age. Here, robots became a part of everyday life, and they contribute in various aspects of society.
"Shinki" are 15cm tall cute partners made to assist humans. Equipped with intelligence and emotions, they devote themselves to serving their "Masters." They can also be equipped with weapons and armor to fight each other.
Such Shinki are named “Busou Shinki” (translated as, “armed divine princesses”). In particular, the Shinki Ann (Arnval), Aines (Altines), and Rane (Altrane) serve a high school freshman named Masato. Things change when a new Shinki, the bellicose Staarf, joins them.

The official website also features the character designs of Altines, Arnval, Staarf, and Altrane. The anime series would not be related on the Busou Shinki: Moon Angel net anime that was released last year.
