Here's the latest video of the 1/1-scale Gundam statue at Odaiba by self proclaimed “Gundam videographer” darwinfish featuring the super moon phenomena. The RX-78-2 Gundam finally returned to Tokyo after almost three years.
A supermoon is the coincidence of a full moon or a new moon with the closest approach the Moon makes to the Earth on its elliptical orbit, resulting in the largest apparent size of the moon's disk as seen from Earth.
The life-size statue of the RX78-2 Gundam piloted by Amuro Ray, was rebuilt at Diver City Tokyo. It first stood at Odaiba in July of 2009 and attracted 4.15 million visitors before it closed the following month, and some parts returned to Tokyo last August as a charity drive after the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake disaster.
