Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Set Slated for September Release

To celebrate the franchise's 25th anniversary, Capcom had announced that they will be releasing a special compilation edition of Street Fighter games, the limited edition Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector’s Set for PS3 and Xbox 360.
The Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector’s Set includes a number of Street Fighter games along with other exclusive contents and extras. It is slated for September 18th release for $149.99 and only available in North America.
The set will include the following games:
- Street Fighter X Tekken (including all character and Swap Costume DLC)
- Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition (with all costume DLC)
- Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix
- Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition
The set will also include the following video extras on two Blu-ray Discs:
- A new documentary titled "I am Street Fighter"
- The Street Fighter IV: The Ties That Bind and Super Street Fighter IV anime films
- The complete Street Fighter animated series
- Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie
The set will also include the following extras:
- An 8-inch tall light-up Ryu statue
- An 11-disc soundtrack featuring music from the Street Fighter games, remixes, and fan-created music
- A 64-page hardcover artbook
- A full-size replica of Ryu's martial arts black belt
- An individually-numbered certificate of authenticity
Furthermore, Capcom had announced a series of tournaments for the game's anniversary. The tournaments will include over $500,000 worth of cash, non-cash prizing, and amenities. For tournament schedules, check out PlayStationLifestyle.net.
The first-place Street Fighter × Tekken player will be crowned champion and be handed the keys to an all-new custom designed Scion FR-S Sports Coupe, a one-of-a-kind Street Fighter-themed sports car.
