Ishinomori Manga Museum Re-Opens

The Ishinomori Manga Museum in Ishinomaki, Miyagi is one of the places devastated by the Great Japan Tohoku Earthquake last March 2011. After the quake, statues of AkaRanger and Kamen Rider 1 left standing strong and unscathed.
Heroes return to Japan's tsunami coast!
Last November 17th, after more than a year of since it closed, the museum re-opens and present in the event are some of the Ishinomori classic heroes, and a few of the Kamen Riders — including Rider 1, Den-O, OOO, Fourze, and Wizard.
Also present in the event are the Kamen Rider GIRLS, who sung their 3rd single “Saite”, and RIDER CHIPS's Yoshio Nomura. In front of the attendees Nomura said,
“My first experience with a hero was Kamen Rider. From the riders who got back up how many times they were knocked down, I learned courage.”
One visitor commented that the re-opening of the museum cheers everyone after the heartbreaking event in their lives. One of the museum's staffs added that the reopening will be part of the city's recovery.
The Ishinomori Manga Museum is a museum dedicated to the manga works of Shotaro Ishinomori, the creator of mangas such as Cyborg 009, and tokusatsu series like Kamen Rider and Himitsu Sentai Goranger. And on the way to the Museum, they placed statues of his creations, such as Cyborg 009, Kamen Rider V3 and Robocon.
