First Photo of Rurouni Kenshin Sequel's Misao in Costume

Comic Natalie had posted our first look at Tao Tsuchiya (Ultraman Zero: Revenge of Belial), in costume, as Misao Makimachi in the upcoming Rurouni Kenshin live action film sequels. This will be her first full-fledged action role.
Tsuchiya made her acting debut in the the 2008 film Tokyo Sonata. Overwhelmed by the first Rurouni Kenshin film, she decided to audition for the sequels.
More characters in their respective costumes are expected to be revealed in later dates. The official site noted that December 29th will be the next time they will make an update.
It has been confirmed that Rurouni Kenshin will have another two live-action films encompassing the manga/anime's Kyoto Arc. These will be entitled “Rurouni Kenshin: The Great Kyoto Fire Arc” and “Rurouni Kenshin: The End of a Legend Arc”. The films are slated to open next summer.
The "Kyoto Arc" took place several months after Kenshin joins the Kamiya Dojo. Shishio Makoto plans to conquer Japan by destroying the Meiji Government, starting with Kyoto. Feeling that his friends may be attacked, Kenshin goes to meet Shishio alone in order to defeat him. However, many of his friends, including a young Oniwabanshū named Makimachi Misao, decide to help him in his fight.

A poll was held on website My Navis Women asking 200 women "what manga they most want to see adapted into a live-action film", with the respondents ages of 22-34. Topping the list is Yuki Suetsugu's sports romance manga Chihayafuru.

One Piece Unlimited World R "Straw Hat Intro" Trailers

Namco Bandai Games had released two introduction videos for the latest One Piece video game, One Piece Unlimited World Red, featuring the members of the Straw Hat Pirate Crew! The game was originally released on November 21st.
Unlimited World Red follows the Straw Hat Crew's adventure in the New World. Guided by the raccoon Pat, the pirates goes in search for the game's main villain Red. While at it, the crew faces their previous allies and enemies namely, but not limited to: Edward Newgate, Akainu, Aokiji, M. Caesar Clown, Trafalgar Law, Hody Jones, Enel, and Crocodile.
The game allows up to four players to play together, where players can explore the world of One Piece with their friends. Additionally, players can do fishing, bug-catching, and treasure-hunting mini games. One Piece Unlimited World Red was released on November 21st for 5980 yen. KR Decade, Blue Buster, Gosei Black Stars in Taekwondo Damashii: Rebirth

TOEI had released a 30-second teaser for the upcoming martial arts movie Taekwondo Damashii: Rebirth. Directed by Hideyuki Katsuki, the film marks the first taekwondo-themed Japanese movie with, the cooperation of the International Taekwon-do Federation Japan (ITF-JAPAN).
The film stars former tokusatsu actors Masahiro Inoue (Kamen Rider Decade), Ryoma Baba (Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters), and Kyosuke Hamao (Tensou Sentai Goseiger). Inoue is said to be a real life taekwon-do practitioner, meanwhile, this will be Hamao's final film before he retires from the industry.
The story revolves around three brothers who are involved in a conflict over which one of them will be heir to the family taekwondo dojo. One day, they accidentally wander into a mysterious forest where they’re suddenly attacked. Their only means of escape is to keep defeating enemies utilizing their taekwondo skills in order to live up to their destinies.
Additional cast members include Kazushige Nagashima, Rina Koike, Seiran Kobayashi, and Renji Ishibashi.
Taekwondo Damashii: Rebirth will be released by Toei Video in Japan on February 15th, 2014.

Initial D Perfect Shift Online Game Additional Details

Following the announcement on its gaming magazine, Famitsu had posted more details online for the upcoming Initial D free-to-play Nintendo 3DS online game, Initial D: Perfect Shift Online. Inspired by Shūichi Shigeno's street racing and drifting manga, the game was developed by Sega.
Like any free-to-play game, main multi-player game will be free to download, while additional items, such as upgrades will be available for purchase. Available in the game are Takumi Fujiwara and his Sprinter Trueno GT-Apex (AE86) car, and Ryosuke Takahashi and his Savanna RX-7∞ III (FC3S) car.
Familiar courses such as Akina and Akagi will also be present in the game.
So how do you basically play this game? According to Famitsu, the chosen automobile will move automatically and all the players have to do is to shift up and down. Of course, perfect timing in shifting gears is needed to win your races.
Initial D: Perfect Shift Online is set to be released in Spring 2014.
S.I.C. Hero Saga Volume 4 Preview Images

Scheduled to be released this December 16th is the fourth volume of Hobby Japan's S.I.C. Hero Saga photobook. These books features the Bandai's Super Imaginative Chogokin (S.I.C.) figures mostly sculpted by Takayuki Takeya and Kenji Ando.
These figures were photograph in various diorama and poses, each representing an original story, mostly not present from each character's respective television series. "Volume 4" will feature one newly written story, Kamen Rider ZX's, Kamen Rider Gill's, Kamen Rider W's, and Kamen Rider OOO's chapters.
S.I.C. Hero Saga Volume 4 costs 2000 yen.
Godzilla 2014 Official Movie Trailer

After all the leaks and take downs, the first full trailer for the upcoming 2014 reboot on the Godzilla movie had been officially released. The film is said to "return the character to its epic roots with a gritty, realistic actioner."
The cast members include Aaron-Taylor Johnson (Kick-Ass), Elizabeth Olsen (Martha Marcy May Marlene, Oldboy), Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad, Argo), Juliette Binoche (The English Patient, Chocolat), David Strathairn (Lincoln, The Bourne Ultimatum), and Ken Watanabe (The Last Samurai, Letters to Iwo Jima, Memoirs of a Geisha).
Directed by Britsh indie director Gareth Edwards (Monsters), Godzilla is scheduled to premiere on May 16th, 2014.
